I pray you all have had an amazing week. I wanted to take some time to encourage you!
“Don’t judge your success by the masses, and what they think of you. Judge yourself by what God told you to do.” – Myles Munroe
I know we encounter challenges in this life, but we always have to remember that the plan that God has for us ensures that we win. All we have to do is continue to look to him despite every hardship. Furthermore, I have learned that sometimes challenges come to build you and not cause you to fold under the pressure. You have to be confident enough in God and know that you will come out of the darkest valleys that you experience in this life.
James 1:2-4 (NIV)
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
Can you accept the message in these versus? They reveal that the difficulties you face in this life are built to produce godly character qualities that you need to lead and reach your destiny. I love that verse 4 states that it brings you to a place of maturity, not lacking anything. God knows how to transform each enormous obstacle in your life into an incredible victory. In God, your trials come to make you stronger. However, without God, your trials will break you. Ask yourself today: Am I leaning on God during my times of difficulty so he can mature me and prepare me for destiny?
Many times, people forget about God until the very last moment. Don't wait. Call on him now. He will give you strategy, peace, confidence, and hope. You are not alone!
