Worship is My Superpower!
Hello ladies, I pray your day was wonderful. I hope you have been able to look at the Monday Motivation video as we begin the new series: "Worship is my Superpower!" It can be seen on the Facebook page or Youtube.
This new series will deal with all the benefits that you receive from meeting God in Worship. The more you get into the presence of God the more encouraged, strengthened, and empowered you become. Life sometimes brings a lot of heartache and pain, but God is still faithful.
Worship allows you the opportunity to take your focus off of everything else around you to focus on God's power, His character, and His will for your life. The more you fix your mind on Him, the smaller your problems become. See, many times we try to handle everything ourselves, but in reality, it is our responsibility to rely on the Father. The Bible says, "Cast all your cares upon the Lord for he cares for you" (I Peter 5:7),
Psalm 121:1-2: I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
When you worship, you are making a choice to look to God. Did you know that God desires for your relationship with Him to be even greater? Worship, even in the hardest moments, can yield the rest, release, and peace that you need to keep going.
It is tempting to give up when things are hard. However, that is the time where you need to lean into God even more. In his presence, you gain direction, wisdom, and a fresh perspective on the matter that is concerning you.
I know this is sometimes better said then done, but I am telling you it is possible. There have been many times in my life where I felt completely overwhelmed and out of control. All I could do was look to heaven to sing, cry, and worship God. In those bleakest moments of my life, I experienced the peace of God. I experienced the love of God. I experience what it feels like to be enlightened through the Holy Spirit on how to approach something or see something in a way that brought release and rest.
See in Worship, the Holy Spirit reveals and comforts. Worship is allowing God to take control. Worship is allowing God to take your pressure. Worship is allowing God to transform your heart.
Today, choose to worship. Release the pressure off of yourself (rational thought), and instead look to God in a time of Worship. He is waiting on your cry. He is waiting to hear your voice. Let your guards down and Worship him! Experience the peace that passes all understanding right now!
