You do not want to miss these live videos on Sunday's at 4pm where I am talking with some incredible women in the faith.
As we continue this series in the month of June, we are going to be dealing with how to "B" Armor Strong. We will take a look at different "B" adjectives as they relate to being a woman and being "Armor Strong." We have already unpacked the different pieces of armor, so I wants to talk from the vantage point of how to walk that out even further in our everyday lives. Therefore, the first "B" topic is "Bold Women!"
Ephesians 6:19, "19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,"
When you are "Armor Strong," God gives you the boldness to be what he has called you to be. He gives you the courage to proclaim the gospel. He gives you the ability to live unashamed of who he is and who he has created you to be. I love that after the Bible talks about the different pieces of armor, verse 18 talks about prayer, and then verse 19 is a request of let "what I say and do brings glory and honor and that I am able to boldly proclaim for all who listens." WOW! As women, we have to be willing to be available to boldly proclaim. Let your life be your megaphone!
What does it mean to be bold?
Bold- not hesitating or fearful in the face of actual or possible danger or rebuff; courageous and daring:
I heard someone say that courage is not the absence of fear but the ability to do something in spite of that very fear. When you are acting boldly as a woman of Faith, it does not mean that the enemy will not attack you with fear. However, you have to make that choice to act boldly in spite of it. Are you bold enough to help your neighbor? Are you bold enough to help your friend? Are you bold enough to help your family? Your testimony, your word that has been imparted into you by God, and your life are what someone else needs to get free, to come out of depression, to decide to reach their goals, or to strive to have relationship with Christ. You are already marked by God, why not walk in boldness?
Esther is a great example of being bold in the face of fear. Esther, who was a Jew, became the Queen during a Persian rule over the Jewish people. During that time, there was a man who wanted the Jewish people killed named Haman. Her Uncle Mordecai sent word to her that she needed to go to the King on the behalf of the Jewish people. However, the King had not sent for her, and no one was supposed to see the King without being summoned or they could be killed. Nevertheless, she told the messenger to tell the people to go on a fast, and she would go to see the King to speak on behalf of the Jewish nation. She was willing to be bold enough in the face of death. I am sure fear griped her, but she said "If I perish let me perish, I am going to see the King." In the end, God granted her grace. She was not killed, but the King met with her. Then, the man that was trying to kill the people of God was killed, and Esther and the King were back in good fellowship as a couple. WOW!! This shows that your willingness to move in boldness will yield results. You are not moving alone, but you are moving with God. He will be there to protect you. He will make hard things smooth. He will correct things that have been misaligned.
Ladies we are not weak, but God has made us Strong! We are to put on our armor, and it is our responsibility to live boldly as we pursue goals and dreams and as we minister and encourage others. You have what you need as long as you have God. He will direct you, guide you, teach you, and instruct you! Do not be afraid! Be Bold! There is territory for you to conquer!!!
"B" Armor Strong by being a BOLD Woman of God!
