Participate in God's Plan
Hello everyone, I hope your week has been beautiful, but if you have faced some challenges I hope that you were able to lean into God during those tough moments. As we continue with the theme for the month of January: Pursuing Purpose, the topic for today is "Participate in God's Plan."
Participate- to take or have a part or share, as with others;partake; share (usually followed by in):
Plan- a scheme or method of acting, doing, proceeding, making, etc., developed in advance:
Do you understand that God has a plan for your life?
Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
- The plans that God have for your life are spectacular. We can walk and move in the plans of God when we make time for building an intimate relationship with God. God loves you, and he desires for you to experience the fullness of what he has to offer you, not what life has to offer you. Life offers challenges, difficulties, pain, confusion, and many other things. However, God offers life, peace, joy, strength, hope, love, and so much more.
Although, God offers so much for you, it is your choice to accept or participate in what he offers for life in Him. You must understand that life with God does not make the challenges of life nonexistent in your life. However, the victory, peace, love, strength, and hope that you need, will carry you through every obstacle or challenge that is present in your life. Therefore, as you are pursuing purpose this year, make a choice to ensure that your plans and goals are in alignment with God's plan for your life. The more you build relationship with Him, the more in sync you will be with His will for your life. God does not want to keep secrets from you. He desires to endow you with wisdom and revelation of His will and His plans for your life because when you walk into your purpose, you make an impact on your world, which includes everyone around you- Kingdom Work- Kingdom Impact- Kingdom Change.
My occupation is a high school Special Education Teacher. I have the opportunity to help students transition smoothly into the next area of their lives that is filled with choices, responsibilities, freedom, and opportunities. In the classroom, I always encourage participation. Participation is not only beneficial to their grade in the classroom, but it is an indication that they are fully in engaged in the content being taught in the classroom. When you make a choice to participate in God's plan, you are deciding to take in everything that God is teaching you. The teachings that are eternal, life changing, inspiring, and uplifting. The teachings that will get and keep you out of trouble. The teachings that will give you creative ideas. The teachings that will allow you to reach your family, friends, and other people around you. Therefore, don't allow others things to distract you. Don't allow yourself to not be fully engaged in the lessons that God is trying to teach you even when they are in the midst of difficulty.
You can choose to be fully committed in what God desires to do in your life. You may not have an understanding of everything, but as you lean into God more and more each day, you will find that God will reveal to you the lessons that you can gain out of your challenging moments. Also, even when you have been the cause of some of the challenges from wrong choices, you are not disqualified from God's plan for your life. All you have to do is make a choice to repent and get in good standing with your Father. His love is unwavering for you. His mercy and grace are unending for your life. Rush into the arms of God wherever you are in your journey of life, and God will embrace you. Today and everyday after, choose to Participate in God's Plan!
