Worship and Prayer are so vital to the walk of any believer. I know that we all have busy lives, but we have to be intentional about making an effort to spending time with God. God is our father, and he loves us so much. God has a plan and purpose for our lives that are revealed in time of prayer and worship. It is not that God is incomplete without us, but we are incomplete without him. In the midst of chaos, confusion, responsibilities, and more, we need God to be the GPS of our lives. God is waiting to navigate your through every area of your life. There can be many uncertainties, but God is the one who knows all.
This blog is called 1 Voice in the Noise for two reasons: 1. God can hear our voice through everyone else and 2. We have to be able to hear God's voice through the noise of Life.
1. God is all knowing and all powerful. There is nothing that he does not know or that he cannot handle. There are many people with many issues, topics, and questions that they bring to God, but God can distinguish your voice from all of his other children. God is not pressed for time. God is not annoyed by your coming to Him. God wants you to come to Him. He loves to hear from you. He loves for you to get to know Him, his character, and his plans for your life. You need to know that he is awaiting the opportunity for your walk to be deeper and more intimate with Him.
2. We have to be able to hear God's voice through the noise of Life. Life can be so hectic and busy, but we have to make time to be still before God. The areas in our life where we desire promotion, direction, revelation, hope, and so much more, comes from time with God. As we make time for God, he will show his greatness. If you are feeling discourages, run to God. If you are feeling alone, run to God. If you are feeling lost, run to God. If you are feeling bombarded by attacks, run to God. If you are feeling insecure, run to God. God wants to be your guide, your best friend, your encourager, your hope, and so much more.
18 I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
3 I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
6 In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
