I am Free
The challenges of life can impact us in a negative way. The experience of hurt and rejection can cause people to be angry, defensive, or depressed. The experience of disappointment can cause people to have feelings of insecurities, inadequacies, and trust issues. You have had different experiences in your life that have shaped the way that you are today. We tend to focus on the good. We focus on the fact that we have overcome and been able to move forward. However, many people still live with the hurt, anger, disappointment, and insecurities (just to name a few) every day. Most people have learned to put on the face and talk the talk as if everything is alright; however, many people are still hurting inside. Their thoughts often plague them from experience of their past. Often it is hard to understand why you had to go through certain things. Today, I would like to encourage you to Be Free!
Freedom- liberation from oppression, conquest, and the rule of something or someone.
There are ways that have become a part of who you are because of the challenges that you have faced. People try to find ways to cope with experiences. However, the truth is we need to build relationship with God. We must allow God to heal the physical, mental, and emotional wounds of our past and present experiences. Life is not designed for us to handle on our own. God created us with a soul, a spirit, and a body. He created us to have relationship with him. So why do we try to fix things ourselves? Why do we try to fix ourselves? The nature of the body and the soul works through intellect and rationale. However, we have to build up our spirit with deeper relationship with God. Our spirit desires to be in connection with God, and when we allow that to happen, the spirit is built up to go to God for deliverance and refuge in the times of difficulty.
God does not desire for you to be held in bondage to your circumstances. He desires that you are free from the hurt, pain, anger, and brokenness that is a result of life’s experiences. When you draw to God he will point you in the direction you need to go. He will protect you. He will heal you. He will comfort you. He will restore the things you have lost. God desires the best for his children. Therefore, he desires the best for you. Romans 8:18, “For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
We are not designed to be incomplete. God designed us to be complete through him. God does not desire for us to be bound because of the things we have picked up through this journey in life. The devil desires that for you. III John 1:2 God wishes above all things that we prosper and be in good health even as our soul prospers.
Pray this prayer if you desire to be free today:
Dear God, forgive me for all my sins. God I thank you that you love me. I know that you do not desire me to be bound with unforgiveness, bitterness, anger, jealousy, depression, insecurities, rejection, anxiety, etc. Therefore, God today I let it all go. God today I come to you to be free. God make me whole in you. God everything that has attached to me that is not of you, take from me. You are my father. You are my God. I put my complete trust in you. I was not created to make it through life without you. Therefore, I yield to you completely. Thank you that I am free. In Jesus Name Amen.
