He Will Finish What He Started In You!
Philippians 1: 6
6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
In life there are so many things that we start but never get to finish. There are things that we have set our minds to do but never worked on them. However, we serve a God that has a plan for our lives, and he will finish what he has started in us.
It is so great to know that an all-powerful and all-knowing God loves us so much that he is faithful to finish what he started in us. I am sure you can think of a million reasons why God does not have to finish what he started in us. We have tried things our way, turned our backs on God, doubted the fulfillment of what he has promised, and questioned the purpose of your life. Nevertheless, it is great to know that he knows the weakness of our flesh (the way we think, act, and handle life). In repentance, he does not charge that against us. God is always waiting for us to turn to him. God is always waiting for us to choose his plan and his way for our lives. God is always waiting for us to seek him for direction, guidance, and wisdom.
His grace is so amazing that he is willing to look beyond all of our faults and produce a master piece in us. God does not see us as our mistakes, but he sees us as our potential, the way he has designed us to be.
Paul said in Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing.” Paul had relationship with God. He was confident, meaning he was sure and nothing could persuade him otherwise. See with relationship with God you understand some things that many have not yet understood. Paul told the people that what God has begun in you (this good work) he was going to perform it. Basically it is destined to happen.
We have to get to a place that we understand that what God has planned for us, it is destined to happen. It is not a maybe or a might. There is no need for doubt. We have to live, walk, and talk faith. Faith has a voice. Faith is exercised through action. Faith is how we must choose to live every day.
We are victorious because of Christ. We are royalty because of Christ. We are treasured because of Christ. We are warriors because of Christ. We have dominion because of Christ.
Don’t give up Now!!!
